How it works

One taste, made by Qloo from the things you love, and everything Najimi does with it.

Your taste in Najimi is a short list of things you love, each with a weight from 1 to 10. That's all you give it. Qloo's taste graph does the rest: it knows how the things people love connect across every kind of culture, so three loves become a whole picture.

What Qloo gives back

One taste, everywhere

The same taste flows through every screen, so changing it in one place changes everything:

  • Love a card in the feed and it joins your taste. Not for me hides it for good.
  • Drag a love's weight on the Graph or in the feed's tune sheet: what's ahead re-ranks at once, then Qloo refines it.
  • Tell Najimi "less films" or "more like this": it changes your mix, or adds the thing to your loves.

Your taste is recomputed in the background whenever it changes; a burst of changes is folded into one update.

Other people's tastes

  • You and a friend: Qloo compares the two tastes and Najimi turns it into one match number, the loves you share, and the words you both are.
  • A circle: its taste is every member's loves blended so each person counts the same. Earth can show a circle's taste, Najimi plans for it, and it has its own soundtrack.
  • A business: its taste is the business itself in Qloo, or the places most like it, and its people's.

Shown, never hidden

Every Qloo request is logged: the endpoint, what was asked, the time, whether it was cached, how many results came back. The chip on a card in the chat, the Why this? chip on a pick and Built on on your profile each open the exact call behind what you're looking at. Read more in Explainability.
